Latin American Heritage Month 2024
It's a multi-faceted exploration followed by a range of artistic activities designed to help us recognize and understand each other in a constructive way.
Among the aspects we want to highlight is the profound impact of migration on individuals and communities. We want people to better understand the vulnerabilities, but also the achievements and contributions of Latin American immigrant communities, as well as how to value them and perpetuate their memory. For Latin American communities, it's an opportunity to mobilize, build resilience and share, celebrate and promote their culture with the world.
In the “Migrantologies” menu, you'll find :
-Art exhibition by artist Luisa Niño
-Cultural mediation workshops on the theme of the exhibition - rest - to provoke dialogue, raise awareness and enhance mutual understanding.
-Storytelling evenings for adults, with storyteller and musician Saulo Olmedo Evans.
-The classic Latin American Fair, Zocalito, to enjoy arts and crafts, typical dishes and community encounters.
